本系洪維強教授分別獲Elsevier出版社旗下頂級SCI期刊Applied Energy (2013年影響指數5.261，JCR一區刊物)以及SCI期刊Applied Mathematical Modelling (2013年影響指數2.158，JCR二區刊物)評為「傑出評審員獎(Outstanding Reviewer Award)」

評獎詞為「獲獎者目前為Applied Energy及Applied Mathematical Modelling期刊過去兩年中完成論文評審數的第10個百分位數評審員(You are awarded this status as you are within the top 10th percentile of reviewers for the Journal, in terms of the number of manuscript reviews completed in the last two years.)」
